Tehran (ISNA) – An official of
Iran's Kerman Motors announced that Hyundai’s Elantra and Tucson models will be
produced in Iran.
Deputy of Iran’s Kerman Motors Sales
and Marketing department Hassan Akbari stressed that the necessary measures are
being taken to produce the Hyundai’s Elantra model in the local firm's Kerman
production facility by the first half of next year (begins on March 21,2018 ).
“The Hyundai’s Tucson model will
also be produced in Iran by next two years,” he added.
The official also pointed out that
Iran’s Kerman Motors is negotiating with the South Korea's Hyundai Motors to
export the Iranian-produced cars to other countries.
