Iranian firms given priority in Syrian reconstruction drive: Syrian PM

Jan 4, IRNA – Syrian Prime Minister Emad Khamis said late on Thursday that
Iranian companies will be prioritized in all the country’s reconstruction
projects.
In a meeting with an Iranian
parliamentary delegation in Damascus late on Thursday, he welcomed Iran’s
presence in economic activities and Syrian reconstruction, stressing that Iran
will have priority in all the projects, as incentives have been considered for
the Iranian firms involving in the Syrian reconstruction.
Acknowledging Iranian government’s support to the Syrian nation in the fight
against terrorism, he said that his country’s victory is an achievement for
resistance movement.
Syrian premier underlined that the Iranian nation has been able to foil plots
of the enemies in any juncture through vigilance and wisdom of its leaders.
The official also described recent riots in Iran as the result of US, Zionist
regime and their regional puppets’ provocation, which is carried out due to
Iran’s backing to the oppressed nations, Palestine in particular.
Head of the visiting Iranian parliamentary delegation, Ahmad Salek, for his
part, underscored the significance of relations between the two friendly
countries in all fields.
Congratulating the Syrian people and government on the country’s recent
victories in various regions, he said that recent developments in Iran are
linked to Majlis’ act to declare Quds as the eternal capital of the Palestinian
nation.
