Gilan's non-oil exports up by 12%




Anzali, Dec 30, IRNA – Non-oil goods exports through Gilan province customs experienced 12-percent growth in the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 22).

“During the nine months, a sum of 84,196 tons of non-oil goods worth 86,138,000 dollars have been exported,” Gilan customs observer Mohammad Shahbazi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday.

“The products comprised vegetables, fruits, tea, mineral products, glass, food and textiles which were exported to Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan,” he added.

“Georgia, Iraq, India, Ukraine, Germany, Belarus, Armenia, France, Moldova, England, Pakistan, the UAE, Malaysia, Iraq and Afghanistan were other export target countries,' Shahbazi said.
