At the closing ceremony of the 36th International Sports Film Festival in Milan at the evening of Monday, Nov 19, attended by Iranian Consul General Amir Masood Miri and Italian government’s representative in Sport, Artists and Veteran Affairs Juan ohn Carlo Jiogeti , 'I am Iranian” by Mohammad Reza Ahanj and produced by Ahmad Najafi was selected as the best sport film.

The film tells the story of an Iranian wrestler by Alireza Heydari as the actor, former champion of the world and Olympics wrestling.

The film prize was awarded by president of the World Federation of Sport Films (FICTS) Franco Eskani to Seyyed Mojtaba Alavi, Secretary of the Iranian Sports Film Festival.

The Iran International Sports Film Festival is an exclusive agent of the International Federation of Sport (FICTS), which is sponsored by Iran’s Ministry of Sport and Youth, the National Olympic Committee and IRIB.

It is considered the preparatory stage of the sport film festival and is tasked with selecting production and works.
