Blind power-lifting team of Iran second in world



Tehran, Nov 17, IRNA - Iran's Blind power-lifting team by winning five gold and two bronze medals in World Championships held in Egypt stood as vice-champion.

The 13th round of the championship ended as Iran and Ukraine won five gold medals each, but the silver medal of Ukraine against in Iran’s bronze medal led to Iran's attaining second position.

Accordingly, Mehdi Baharizadeh, Ahad Javaheri, Arash Hassanpour, Rouhan Ahmadi, and Ismail Ranjbar won five medals for Iran, and Sajjad Khaledan and Mehrdad Baharizadeh bagged bronze medals each.
