3 oil giants interested in developing Iranian oilfield
Tehran (ISNA) – Three oil giants
have announced that they are interested in participation in the development of
Iran's Cheshme Khosh oilfield.
Three companies including Russian
Gazprom Neft, Austrian OMV and Malaysian Petronas presented their proposals for
the development of Cheshme Khosh oilfield in Ilam province in western Iran.
Cheshme Khosh oilfield is located in
the Dasht Abbas area in Ilam province, 52km from Dehloran city and 70km from
Andimeshk city. The exploitation of this oilfield began more than 40 years ago
and the National Petroleum Company of Iran has already signed cooperation
agreements with Gazprom Neft, OMV, Petronas and IDRO to study this oilfield.
