Trade to deepen P2P ties: Iranian diplomat

Beijing, Feb 28, IRNA – An Iranian diplomat described Tehran-Beijing trade ties stable and continuous, saying commercial exchanges can create logical and deep relations among global communities.

Trade is a channel for introducing the communities' capabilities, arts, innovation and knowledge, Alireza Irvash, Iran's Consul General in the Chinese port city of Shanghai said in a speech to the Iran-China business forum on Wednesday.

Welcoming to the presence of the Iranian and Chinese trade officials in the forum, Irvash said it proves the two countries' determination to develop economic relations.

Irvash added that enhanced trade will lead to strengthening cultural and political cooperation.

China, before the sanctions era, during the sanctions period and after the July 2015 nuclear deal, has been Iran's biggest trade partner in the past decade.
