Iran-France post-JCPOA reaches $3.8 bln: Envoy
Tehran, Feb 28, IRNA – In 2017, shortly after the nuclear deal was signed the economic relations between Iran and France reached $ 3.8 billion, said Iranian envoy in Paris.
'With respect to the situation, it
is expected that the economic ties between the two countries, especially in
agriculture and animal husbandry,' said Abolqasem Delfi in a meeting with an
economic delegation from Markazi Province, central Iran, in the Iranian embassy
in Paris.
He also said that the Iranian embassy in Paris is ready to help the Iranian
provinces to materialize their potentials.
The deputy-chairman of the province's chamber of commerce Hamed
Amini-Moslehabadi said in the meeting that in the negotiations with some French
companies, it was decided that Iran and France cooperate in livestock upgrading
and training courses.
The delegation will be in Paris February 24 Until March 1, 2018 to participate
in the International Agriculture Exhibition of Paris and negotiate with the
French private sector and the authorities of the French Ministry of
Agriculture, Agrifood, and Forestry.
