Iran, Qatar launch joint chamber of commerce
Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA – Director General for Arab-African states in international department of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture Shahram Khasipour said on Sunday that Iran and Qatar joint chamber of commerce launched in Iran's Chamber by holding founding board meeting.
He said that trade exchanges volume
between the two countries in the past nine months exceeded 200 million dollars.
Although this figure shows increase in comparison with the same period of the
preceding year, but it is not yet in proportion with existing capacities and
newly created grounds for development of economic cooperation between Iran and
Qatar.
In December 2017, several Iranian banks created advising ties with Qatari banks
to prepare the grounds for developing trade exchanges.
