Iranian naval fleet docks at Sri Lanka
Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Navy’s 50th naval fleet docked at the Port of Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Iranian Navy’s 50th naval fleet, comprised of Tunb logistic-combat warship and Shaheed Naqdi and Bayandor destroyers, docked at Colombo port to strengthen and boost bilateral ties between Iran and Sri Lanka and develop the culture of peace and friendship.
Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammad Amiri Zayeri welcomed the crew of the flotilla upon their arrival.
During its stay in Sri Lanka, the Iranian Navy fleet has various programs such
as a meeting between senior Iranian and Sri Lankan commanders, visits to
military educational centers as well as cultural and historical sites.
