44.2m tons of petrochemicals produced in 10 months

Tehran, Feb 12, IRNA – Petrochemical complexes have produced an aggregate of over 44.203 million tons in the first 10 months of the year (will end March 20, 2018).

According to the report of Petroleum Ministry website on Monday, production of 21 petrochemical complexes in the region of Mahshahr in this period was 16.254 million tons.

Annual nominal capacity of these petrochemical complexes in the region is 25.6 million tons and their actual capacity planned for this year was 21 million tons.

Petrochemical complexes in Assalouyeh have 32.7 million tons of nominal annual capacity and their program for this year production is around 26.5 million tons.

A total 16 petrochemical complexes in Assalouyeh have had an aggregate output of around 18.687 million tons in the first 10 months of the year.

The actual production of 21 petrochemical complexes inside the country was around 9.261 million tons in this period.

Total production of petrochemical industry in the month of Dey (December 22, 2017-January 20, 2018) was around 4.2 million tons and the total amount produced in the entire country was 44.2 million tons during the 10 months.
