Iran attends 1st global e-commerce conf. in China
Beijing, Feb 11, IRNA – The first Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference, co-hosted by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the General Administration of China Customs (GACC) convened in Beijing with Iran's participation among 125 delegations.
The two-day conference (February
9-10) was attended by Governor of the Iranian Customs Administration Foroud
Asgari.
Asgari told the Islamic Republic Nerws Agency (IRNA) that at the conference
themed 'An Innovative, Inclusive, Strategic and Collaborative Approach to
Sustainable Cross-Border E-Commerce', Iran's Customs' capabilities were
introduced at an international level.
He met with customs officials from China, Russia, Japan and Hong Kong. They
discussed ways of expanding cooperation, including preparing the agreement
drafts, educational cooperation and fighting smuggling.
