Iran exports 757,000 tons of dairy products in 9 months




Bushehr, Feb 6, IRNA – Iran has exported 757,000 tons of dairy products during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (will end on March 20, 2018).

The amount of milk production was 10,200,000 tons in the current year, deputy minister of Agricultural Jihad Hassan Rokni told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday.

2,250,000 tons of chicken meat was also produced in the country, he said.

Meat production is now 830,000-840,000 tons and the consumption amount is 930,000-940,000 tons.
