Iran-Armenia annual trade balance hits $300m
Bushehr,
Feb 5, IRNA – Armenian Ambassador in Tehran Artashes Tumanyan has put
Iran-Armenia annual trade at $300 million.
Tumanyan was speaking during a press
conference at the Iranian southern province of Bushehr on Monday.
The main trade exchanges between Iran and Armenia are being made in the energy
sector, particularly the gas sector, Tumanyan said.
It is expected that trade exchanges between the two countries will rise
significantly, the ambassador added.
Noting that the relations between the two countries have been more of a
political nature, he said that every effort will be made to move relations
between Iran and Armania towards trade ties.
