TEHRAN, Jul. 28 (MNA) – The Iran men’s national under-20 volleyball team moved onto the finals of 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, achieving a victory against Thailand on Friday.
In another fantastic performance at the 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, Iranian team defeated the Thai outfit 3-1 (25-14, 25-18, 15-25 and 25-14), and secured a berth in the final round of the competitions.
Iran also clinched a 3-0 (25-13, 25-15 and 25-16) win over Kazakhstan at the end of a quarterfinal match in the Bahraini capital city of Manama on Thursday, advancing to the last four.
Iran will play with the winner of South Korea vs Iraq match on Saturday for championship, while Thailand will face the loser team for the third place.
The 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship started on July 21, and will win run through July 28, 2018.
