Sar Agha Seyed Village features special construction

Tehran (ISNA) – “Sar Agha Seyed” is the name of a village located 45 kilometers northern Kuhrang County of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran.

The construction of this village is similar to Masuleh Village of Gilan Province in which houses have been built into the mountain and are interconnected.

One of the reasons that “Sar Agh Seyed Village” has remained unknown for many tourists is due to its location in a highland region. The village is 2500 meters above sea level and features an ideal weather during spring and summer, but it is hardly accessible in winter due to heavy snow.

The visit of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei from this village in 1984 made it famous at that time.

Its villagers are Bakhtiari people of Moogouei clan.
