Iran film editor Mohajer collaborates with Afghan cinema



Tehran, Dec 26, IRNA - Iranian film editor Mastaneh Mohajer collaborated with Afghanistan cinema on a new movie project titled ‘Eve, Mariam, Ayesha’.

Directed by Sahraa Karimi, the new flick that has Iranian editor and producer on board recently wrapped up the editing stage, ifilmtv.ir reported.

In a media report, Mohajer said she has edited this flick that targets female audiences. She further stated that the movie was filmed entirely in Afghanistan.

She also agreed to produce the latest work of director Amir Hosseini Saqafi.

‘The Mystery of Love’ is receiving its review sessions and thus will not be ready for the upcoming Fajr Film Festival, Mohajer said.

Born in 1974, Mohajer began her cinematic career as a film editor. She has so far edited a large number of TV series and feature films including ‘Ceasefire’, ‘Canaan’ and ‘Amir’.

In addition to the prizes that she took from national festivals, Mohajer received Best Picture award for producing ‘Israfil’ by Ida Panahandeh from the Third CineIran Festival in Canada.
