Sistan-Balouchestan destination of Brazil’s heavulivestock



Zahedan, Dec 12, IRNA - Deputy Head of Iran Veterinary Organization said that it is scheduled to import heavy livestock from Brazil to provide meat required by the country through Sistan-Balouchistan and light livestock from other provinces.

The veterinary organization has launched effective measures to provide the country's meat required for about a year ago with the Brazilian veterinary organization, which is based on a joint protocol, Ali Safar Maknali said Tuesday night.

According to the latest figures in 2016, there are about 1.5 billion varieties of livestock in the world, of which about 17 % are in Brazil and 15 percent in Pakistan and Afghanistan, he said, referring to the world animal population status.
